I'm planning on running the MitP marathon this year and have never run in the cold before. Why do you grease up your feet? And what do you "grease" them up with? Do you have any other cold weather running tips to offer a first-time cold weather runner?
I loved the MitP in spite of the grief that I had ... my experience is extraordinarily limited, but putting a layer of vaseline or such (petroleum jelly) on the feet (and other surfaces subject to friction) seems to help prevent blisters for many people ... - ^z -
